I've been thinking of something to say about my impression of Ajja. The only thing that comes up is to say to you that my mouth is far too small to express the greatness, the love and beauty of Ajja. Something happened to me with that incident when I fell on my buttock while working in the ditch. You remember? A little while later Ajja, who was sitting with Shanta Ma and Satish on the steps of the Open Hall, saw me and started to laugh at me because of me falling with my legs up in the air. Ajja's divine laughter just broke my heart in a million pieces, right there and then! His childlike Abandonment was such a divine sight for me that I said a little later to you that I was more than willing to fall a thousand times on my back in the ditch, just to see him laughing like that! Another time I was working hard with Ram Badran and some others in the Ashram. I was tired and hot. I felt very much enervated and felt quite a lot of resistance of digging in the hard soil. Suddenly Ajja was standing about a meter behind me, silently watching me. I felt this incredible peace flowing from Ajja right through my whole body and mind, bathing it in a cool, nectar-like purity and silent bliss. At that moment my tiredness and enervation was completely washed away!. Ajja walked quietly away, back to his balcony, as if nothing happened. That is the way I experienced Ajja, working in silence, unobtrusively. There are more incidents that I experienced with Ajja but I don't have the words for that. I feel very grateful to have met Ajja, beyond words.
