Satya Shodhana Trust has unertaken the following tasks:

Ashram Bulletin

On 18th July, 2008 Gurupornima was ceebrated.

Guru Poornima was celeberated as per the scheduled programme.
Shri Iswar Bhat of Bharat Sevashram Kanyana was felicitated and presented a
cheque for Rs. 25,000/-. Shri Govindacharya remembered his interactions with Sri Ajja during his discourse. Shri Tolpady concluded the function with his speech after which Guru Pooja and
Arati were performed followed by lunch

On 30th Jan. 2008 Martyr's Day was observed in the Ashram.

Three books on Ajja,

     1. Adu Aduve         - a book of conversations with Ajja in Kannada,
     2. Anandopanishat - English translation of original Kannada book by Padma Shenoy,
     3. Tributes              - articles on Ajja by various devotees with 10 photos of Ajja,
                                      were duly released.

These are now available at the Ashram at the following rates:

Adu Aduve- Rs. 500/- for two volumes.

Anandopanishat- Rs. 75/-.

An attempt to translate Adu Aduve into English will be undertaken shortly. Public contributions will greatly appreciated.

In addition we continue with the practice of feeding devotees on their visit to the Ashram
during meal times (Preferably with prior notice). This practice was established by Ajja
himself.Other routine works of repairs and maintenance with cultivation of vegetables are
being carried out.
